FAQ

Which banks support Zelle?

To see a list of banks that are Zelle partners, click here:  https://www.zellepay.com/get-started

Is there a limit to how much money I can send via Zelle?

If your bank or credit union offers Zelle, please contact them directly to learn more about their sending limits through Zelle.

If your bank's daily limit is below the BVOA 2024 dues , you can send the payment in 2 parts. It would be appreciated if, beforehand,  you contact  bvoatc@gmail.com  to let the BVOA know that the payments will be staggered.

Some banks have a reduced limit on the first payment sent to a recipient.  In this case, you can pay the 2024 invoice with 2 payments but should be able to pay future invoices in a single payment.

What if my bank isn't on the list?

If your bank is not a Zelle partner, you can still send money by using the Zelle Mobile App.  However, the Zelle App sending limit is $500 per week.

Does BVOA support other online payment methods?

Yes. BVOA does support PayPal, payment with credit cards or other online payment methods. The BVOA selected Zelle as an online payment method because Zelle has no costs/fees which means 100% of your payment goes to funding HOA activities.  If choose to send your dues payment via PayPal and you will be responsible for the PayPal fee.

Does Zelle have a payment protection program?

Zelle does not offer a protection program for any authorized payments made with Zelle.

Please verify that you have typed in the correct BVOA payment email address ( bvoatc@gmail.com ) into Zelle to ensure that your payment is received.

The homeowner, not BVOA, is responsible if payment is not received.

Other Questions?

Please contact  bvoatc@gmail.com   if you have any other questions about using Zelle to pay your BVOA annual dues.
